| Call for paper and panel proposals in all areas of Jewish Studies. The WJSA encourages papers and panels on Jews in the American West, pedagogical aspects in Jewish Studies, and contemporary Israeli issues. Panels devoted to anniversaries of events in Jewish history like Jewish participation in the American Civil War (1861) the Beilis Trial (1911), the Eichmann Trial (1961), the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Elie Wiesel (1986) or any others that fall on century or half century marks are particularly welcome.
Paper proposals should be no longer than one double-spaced typed page and should be submitted with a short CV that contains contact information |
